アメリカ便り〜Report from America "Super Huge Ham!"

The day before yesterday, my husband returned to home with such a big ham he bought. While he had been in the supermarket, he called me did I want to have ham because they were very good price!
But I wondered if there was an affordable size's one, and I replied him. But....then, he replied me; he already had bought a smallest one....but it was still super huge!!!

Anyway, I must be consumed it he bought.

一昨日、旦那様がどデカイハムを買って帰ってきました。彼が買い物でスーパー行っていた時に、私に「ハム安いけどいる？」と聞いてきたのですが、私はもし手頃なサイズがあればと思いながら返信したところ、私の返信を待たず、彼は既に「一番小さかったの」と言って、それでも超巨大なハムを購入してしまっていました…。

まぁ、なんにせよ、買ってきてしまったからには消費しなければなりません！

So, at the first, I made ham steaks last night, with request from him.
And it was also request from him, I made roast ham & natto bowls.
My husband praised my works, and he recommended posting the recipe on CookPad; but I always don't do that because it is troublesome to me....but I'll try to post my recipes this time!

There were fun even if it was a little trouble to cut, and the ham is delicious, like Marudai's ham, even it was so cheep; only $1.19/Ib!

と、いうことで、先ずは旦那様のリクエストにより昨夜はハムステーキを調理。それから今朝は、これまたリクエストによりロースハム納豆丼を作りました。
旦那様は大層気に入った様子で「クックパッドに掲載しなくちゃ！」と言っていました（笑）
滅多に成功しないオリジナル料理が上手く行くたびに、そう言ってくれるのですが、当の私は面倒臭くて…。でも、今回こそは頑張ってみようかな？

このハム、カットするのが面倒だけれど、1ポンド1ドル19セントと激安なのに（日本感覚でいうと100gが35円くらい）、丸大ハムに似たような味で（ちょっと更に濃いめかな？）値段の割にとても美味しくて、そうなると調理も楽しいし気に入った！

I'm going to make other new dishes next time; ham cheese cutlets, dice cut steaks, fried rice, Pork egg rice balls....etc.

When I make a new dish, I'll add the detail on this post;)

次回も何かしら新しい品々を作ってみようと思っています（ハムチーズカツ、サイコロハムステーキ、チャーハン、ポーク卵おにぎり、などなど…）。その時には、此方の投稿に追記しまーす(*^o^*)

These were side dishes of ham steaks; minestrone and Hassy's whim salad - simple healthy tofu salad -; minestrone was according to my recent favorite book.
