アメリカ便り「春祭り2日目！」〜Report from America " the Second Day of Spring Fest"

Today was the second day of Spring Fest of Cascadia College.

今日はカスケイディア大学の春祭り2日目！

I invited my friend to the event this time.
She is my last quarter's classmate and one of my best friends in here, and is good at dancing.

私はこの度、前学期のクラスメイトで私の親友の一人であり、ダンスも上手な友人を誘いました(*^^*)

She brought me her handmade rhubarb cheesecake tart, and said it was her first time to make a cake in here and to make for me. And also she made it after work, the midnight of last night.

彼女は私にとルバーブのチーズケーキタルトを作ってきてくれて！此方でケーキを作るのは初めてだし、私のために作ってあげられるのも初めて！という彼女は、昨夜仕事の後真夜中にこれを作っていたのだとか…。

She also said she had made it just by her memories of the recipe she learned in her home country.

その上、彼女が言うには、彼女は母国で習ったレシピを思い出しながら作ったのだとか…。

I gave her my works many times, so she wanted to feast me her own cake. I was really happy to eat her cake!!
It was really yummy:)

私からは何度も彼女に手作りのお菓子をあげていたから、彼女は私に彼女手作りのケーキをご馳走してあげたかったそうで。
彼女の手焼きケーキを食べられて本当に幸せだったー！とっても美味しかったです(*^o^*)

Then...

さて…。

There were some interesting booths in the outside just like as last Thursday. I couldn't look around enough this time because I had to helped the booth of the swing dance club I'm participating to.

今日も先週と同じく楽しげなブースが立ち並び。だけど私は最近参加しているスウィングダンス部の手伝いがあったので満足に見て回れませんでした。

Even though that, I still enjoyed free Italian Soda, and dyeing trial using the original T-shirt.

それでも、無料のイタリアンソーダやイベントオリジナルのＴシャツの手染め体験を楽しませてもらったり。

At our booth, we provided Ring Toss for getting yummy candies or special gift, and asked passengers or visitors to participate our club.

私たちのブースではお菓子か特別プレゼントをかけた輪投げゲームを提供したり、通行人や訪問者に入部を勧めたり。

When I was alone for a while, I became nervous because I was scared by being reminded the lack of my English during being with the students.

しばらく一人きり気なった時にはドキドキ……だってら学生さんたちの中にいると自分の英語力の低さを再認識しちゃって怖くなっちゃうんだもん…。

Huh.....

はぁ〜…

Anyway, it was fun!!!!

なんにせよ楽しかった！
