アメリカ便り～引きこもりな一日～
The yesterday's dinner.
Because it was slightly toilsome,I don't feel motivated...
Main dish was vinegar stew of chicken and vegetables.
Side dish was gratin of avocado and butter nuts pumpkin and tofu. And cream stew with bacon.
These dishes with a lot of vegetables was completed when I continued cutting vegetables slowly.

By the way, about cakes which I bought the other day in Portland.
Doughnut which I bought in VOODOO DOUGHNUT, [maple bacon bar] is maybe the major in this country's doughnut shop(a salesclerk said so),and [Portland Cream] is considered to be a doughnut of Portland City.
[Portland Cream] seemingly I saw it was chocolate coating，but in fact, that a chocolate spread such as [nutella] was put under the chocolate glaze. And sticky milk custard cream entered among this doughnut. It was the taste that I did not have imagination, but was delicious.
Doughnut's doughs were delicious both.
If there is an opportunity, I want to go for buying again.
(However I need some courage because I'm scared at the salesclerk who was stern man who was shaggy a mustache， and at BGM of Rock cancer cancer streaming in a shop, and at the shop which was crowded with people.)
But an appetite is than fear!

Then cupcake jones's cakes which the name of the kind that I bought,
(red velvet cake,vanilla bean pastry cream filling,cream cheese icing and a hand candied rose petal).

I felt anything was very delicious,and happy!
Finally, as is expected, I am a limit of the physical strength in having been making a full entry for the events from the night of Thursday.
So I stay indoors today.
I baked banana cake which I want to hand to friends tomorrow, and make preliminary arrangements for the dish of the Thanksgiving Day of the weekend.
Then, by way of English self-study and to tell people whom I met here, I contribute in an English sentence.
After all, it seems to be a day without time today.....

昨日の夕食。
少ししんどいのが続いていて、支度するのにやる気が出ず。
メインディッシュは鶏と野菜のさっぱり煮、そして、副菜はアボカドとバター・ナッツ・カボチャと豆腐のグラタン、ベーコン入クリームシチュー。
ボチボチのんびりと沢山の野菜を刻み続けていたら、気が付けばお野菜たっぷりボリュームたっぷりのご飯が出来上がっていました。

私がポートランドの先日買ってきたお菓子の数々。
VOODOO DOUGHNUTで買ったドーナツ、
メープルベーコンバーは、アメリカのドーナツショップではメジャーなドーナツなのだとか？？（店員さんがそのチョコ言っていました）。
ポートランド・クリームはポートランド市の公認ドーナツとされているそう。
見た目にはただチョコレートコーティングをしているだけのようでしたが、実際は、ココアグレーズの下に、更にヌテラのようなチョコスプレッドが挟み込まれていて、ドーナツの中にはネットリしたミルク・カスタード・クリームが入っていました。
あまりに予想しなかった味ではありましたが、食べなると美味しく思えてきました。
ドーナツ生地は、パン生地もケーキ生地も、どちらもおいしかった！
機会があれば、また買いに行きたいです♪
（でも、厳ついヒゲもじゃの店員さんや、ロックがガンガン流れる店内、ごった返す買い物客が恐怖で……行くのにちょっぴり勇気が要ります。）

そしてcupcake jonesのケーキ、私が買ったのは、店員の女の子いわく、ベルベットペインティングはこの店で一番人気らしい。（赤色の口溶けの良いスポンジケーキ,バニラビーンズクリーム、クリームチーズアイシング、バラの花びらの砂糖漬け）。
pb&j は見た時に美味しそう！と思って買いました(／≧ω＼)
（白く口溶けの良いケーキ、手作りのベリー・ジャムフィリング、ピーナッツバターのアイシング、ストロベリーコンポート、クランチピーナッツ）

最後に、、、
木曜日の晩から出ずっぱりだったので、どうやら体力の限界…。
なので今日は一日ひきこもり。
明日出来れば友人等に差し上げたいなぁーとバナナケーキを焼き、週末の感謝祭に作る料理の下拵えをしています。
そして、英語の自習を兼ねてと、こちらで知り合った方々にも伝えらえるようにと、英文で投稿してみています。
結局今日も暇がない一日になりそう～(´×ω×`)
