アメリカ便り｢航空祭！｣～Report from America " Aviation Day of Pain Field in Mukilteo"

Yesterday, May 21th.

There was the Aviation Day event of Pain Field of Mukilteo, which is held once every year.

昨日、5月21日。

マカティオにあるペインフィールドで年に一度開催される航空祭がありました。

Actually my husband had been there last year, so he didn't plan to go there. But he realized actually I was dying to join the event, that's why he suddenly told me about it.

実は旦那様は去年に一度行っていたので今回は行くつもりはなかったようで。
でも、私がめちゃくちゃ行きたがっていることに気が付いたらしく、イベントがあることを教えてくれました。

The total price was only $5.30!!!

As always he went fishing in the early morning, and I did remaining housekeepings of this week, and then went to neighbor library to check the book sale of there.

いつもの如く、これは朝イチから釣りに出かけて、私は今週やり残していた家事を片づけて、それから近所の図書館で開催しているブックセールへ。

We finally reached the event parking
in the after noon. The shuttle bus took us to the event venue from the parking.

正午過ぎにようやくイベント専用駐車場に到着。シャトルバスがイベント会場まで連れていってくてました。

There were lots of planes in the venue! ; they were the museum owned or privately owned.
I was really excited see them.

会場には博物館所有のものや個人所有のものの飛行機が沢山！私は大興奮！

But my appetite was more than watching plane.....
I never noticed that a lot of planes were flying in the sky while checking food booths.

でも、色気より食い気…。
私がフードコーナーを見て回っているうちに、沢山の飛行機が飛んでいたとはつゆ知らず…。

Anyway, I enjoyed eating a beautiful burger which I bought at the food truck. Then I went to main booth, and looked flying of the fighters!!!

I heard from my husband they were Black Cat and Tiger Cat. They were really cool!!! Especially the pilot of black cat had great skill of flying, I fascinated it.

ともかくにも、私はフードトラックで買った美味しいバーガーに舌鼓をうち。
その後メイン会場へ行くと、戦闘機が飛んでいて！

ブラックキャットとタイガーキャットというものだそうですが、めちゃくちゃカッコよかった！特にブラックキャットのパイロットは優れた飛行技術を持っていてうっとり見入ってしまいました。

We could take close looks of many kinds of privately owned plains in the outside booth, and certainly we could see a lot of heritage fighters in the museum.

There were Zero, Hayabusa, and the fighter which had dropped nuclear bombs.......
I saw them in a little deep emotion.

外の会場では沢山の種類のプライベート機が見られて、博物館の中では沢山の歴史に残る戦闘機を見ることが出来ました。零戦に隼、原爆を投下したあの戦闘機も…。
私は少し感慨に耽りながらそれらを見ていました。

By the way, I saw also special 737 or 787, the 737 was a transport airplane, and the 787 was testing airplane; I heard the 787 were only two or three in the world, and also we can look them which are colored as the photo only around the Boeing company.
