アメリカ便り「地球の日」〜Report from America " The Earth Day"

Thank you for wonderful Earth Day!!!

この素晴らしい「地球の日（アースデー）」に感謝！！！

Yesterday, I went to JC penny in Alderwood mall to buy kitchen appliances in special prices.

昨日ら私は特別価格のキッチン電化をゲットするためにオルダーウッドモールにあるジェーシーペニー（デパート）へ行ってきました。

I arrived at there 10am!!! ( it was the opening hour of there)

着いたのは開店時間の10時！！！（やる気満々w)

I asked a clerk a lot (the clerk worried me because my English was like bad to her, but I was able to understood all her say, so it was no matter), and finally I asked her to hold the appliances until tomorrow because I wanted go to Tacoma by a bus after that.

私は店員に色々と尋ねて（私は理解できているので問題無かったのだけれど、彼女は、私があんまり拙い英語を話すので、「ちゃんと分かってる？」ってひどく心配してくれていました）、結局、その後タコマ（シアトル最大の国際空港がある街）へバスへ行く予定があったので、明日土曜日まで商品を取り置きしてもらう事にしました。

On every third Thursday, Museum of Glass, Tacoma is free for everyone from 5pm to 8pm.

毎週木曜日の夕方５時から８時までの間、タコマのガラス美術館は無料開放されています。

But, I already forgot that in this time,
so I checked the website while waiting the bus going to Seattle, and I noticed I was not able to go to there because I was required to make supper for my husband in the evening.

けれども、私は今回そのことを忘れちゃっていて、念のためバス停でを待っている間にウェブサイトを調べてみたら…、旦那様に夕ご飯を用意しなければならない時間にかぶっちゃっていて、行く事が出来ない事に気がつきました…。

I changed my plan, and immediately went to the my beloved college to have lunch in good location, and join the swing dance club.

予定を変えて、直様私は、スウィングダンスクラブに参加するためと、お昼ご飯を食べるのに良いところを求めて大好きな大学へ。

This week is "Earth Day" week, so there have been a lots of events in the college.
I was going to eat lunch in my favorite place outside, but there were already no vacant tables, and then finally I got a table.

今週はアースデーウィークになっており、学内の彼方此方でイベントが行われています。私は屋外にあるお気に入りの場所でご飯を食べようとしていたのですが、そこは既に満席！でもなんとか席を確保出来ました。

The wind and the sunshine were so good, and made my lunch tasty.

風と日差しがとても気持ちよくて、ご飯もなんだかいつもより美味しかった♪

After that, I went to join the club, and learned how to dance the swing dance.
In the beginning of my experience of swing dance, it was too difficult....but this time, I was able to enjoy the dance with members!!! And also I learned new steps!!

その後、部活動に参加してスウィングダンスのレッスンを受講。スウィングダンスを始めた頃は、本当に難しかったのですが、今回は部員さん達と楽しく踊れて、更に新たなステップも習得！

Amazing ;)

After the club, I got two pots of little plants, tomato and basil as the gifts from the event.

クラブの後は、アースデーイベントからの贈り物に、トマトのバジルの可愛らしい苗を貰いました。

I met an old woman from Philippine at the bus stop of college, and she spoke to me, and praised my shoes.
We began to talk about the shoes and enjoyed talking each other.
She was really a jolly person.

大学のバス停ではフィリピン人の女性に声を掛けられ、私の靴を褒められて。
靴の話について話し始めて暫くおしゃべり。
とても愉快なおばちゃまでした♪

Then, I returned to home, and took a long rest.

そして家に帰って、のんびーり休ませてもらいました。

And, today, I'm being in the college because I was invited to the events of Earth Day by my beloved friend, Tatiana.

で、今日、私の親愛なる友人タチアナが私をアースデーイベントに誘ってくれたので、私は大学に来ています。

I was going to join the TalkTime of Mountlake Terrace Library, but I changed my plan, so I was dying to see her because we could not be in touch forever until today.

当初はモントレイクテラスのトークタイムへ行く予定だったのだけれど、長らく会っていない彼女にどうしても会いたかったので、予定を変える事に。

She recommended me enjoying planting trees, making seed bombs, and eat beautiful organic meals!!!(free for participants of the events)

彼女は植林や、種爆弾作り（種を庭などにばらまく為の土玉）、素晴らしいオーガニック料理（イベント参加者限定）を楽しむことを勧めてくれて。

豪快さを表現したかったのか、可愛げも何も無い姿に…笑

We both enjoyed planting trees in the forest, the side of the college. It was so fun!!!
I could left a memory of America as on the grounds of the college :)

私達は大学横の森林内での植林を楽しませてもらいました♪ 私のアメリカでの思い出が大学の敷地内にしっかり根付く事になるなぁ(*^^*)

So wonderful!!!

なんて素敵！

After that, we made seed bombs,
then, we had lunch each other as benefits of our works.
They all were using organic products, and really beautiful meals.

そのあと種爆弾を作って、それから、よく働いた対価としてお昼ご飯を頂き。
