アメリカ便り〜Report from America "Ehime festival"

Today was a nice day!
All days of this weekday has been going to be rainy days. But, today, the daytime had become sunny!

I had an appointment with my college friends, and went to DenCafe which is near to the college. It was my first time to visit it, but I had known the cafe.

今日はとっても良い日！
今週平日はずっと雨だって言っていたのに、今日の日中は晴れました！
午前中は、大学の知り合いらと約束があり、大学近くのデンカフェに行ってきました。前から知っていたのだけれど、訪れるのは今回が初めて。

We held Japanese girls' talking teatime, it was really fun to talk about each other in Japanese. We had enjoyed talking;)

今回は日本人だけのガールズトークお茶会を開いたのですが、日本語でお互いのことを話すのは何だかとてもたのしくて、みんなでワイワイ話に花を咲かせました。

Then, I went to Seattle to visit Uwajimaya Seattle because the Ehime festival had been held in the store, and I wanted to see the mascot "Mican".

それから私はシアトルへ。何故ならば、宇和島屋のシアトル店で愛媛物産展が開催されていたのです！で、そこでゆるキャラ｢ミキャン｣にも会えると聞いて！

I went to also Uwajimaya Bothell on other day, but Mican was appeared only in Seattle's store.

別な日にベルビュー店へも行っていたのですが、ミキャンちゃんが現れるのはシアトル店だけ。

But..... When I arrived at the store, it already had been there few hours ago, and I wasn't able to see it...
I was so sad:(

でも…私が着いた時には既に出現した後で、会うことは叶いませんでした…(T . T)

悲しい〜(/ _ ; )

But, a sales clerk gave me a goods of Mican, I became happy again♪

でも！販売員さんがミキャンのグッズをくれたので、直ぐに元気回復!

And also!

そしてそして！

Suddenly I had saw a nice old man!

When I was going to cross the road, the man said to me; Your boots is cool!
I replied reflexively; your jacket is also good!
The man was little surprised and said; this is leather. Touch this!

素敵なお爺さんに突如遭遇！

私が道を渡ろうとしていた時に、彼は「あんたのブーツ決まってるね！」と話しかけてきたので、私は咄嗟に「貴方のジャケットも良いですよね！」と返したら、「これは本革だぜ？触ってみなよ！」と言ってきて。

And then we talked for a few or more minutes, and we became friends, we promised to see again and go to eat something together with my husband.

それからここでも話に花が咲き、そこですっかり仲良くなって、今度またあって旦那様も一緒にご飯は行こう！と約束しました(*^^*)

It was nice meeting to me!

本当に素敵な出会い！

And the weather was pretty good, I really enjoyed today:)

天気もとても良かったし、今日一日本当に楽しかったですo(^▽^)o
