アメリカ便り〜Report from America〜The Meat Day in U.S.〜

I made a casserole tonight because cooked rice was left over from two days ago.

I was considered to cook what on other dish. And then, I decided to make a Stewed Cheese Hamburg using ground beef which was left in freezer because every 29th of month is "The Meat Day" in Japan; Japanese say a meat is "niku", 2 is "ni", and 9 is "ku".

I tried to make my husband's hamburg bigger than mine. But my hamburg was came to too small...

Anyway, they were tasty beyond expectation.

My husband ate it happily. Good!!;-)
